At Shekinah Glory Organisation, we believe that every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and break the cycle of poverty. The Sponsor a Child’s Education Project is a vital initiative that ensures vulnerable children—especially those in rural and underserved communities—have access to quality education and the resources they need to succeed.
Through this project, we provide financial assistance to children across Zvishavane District by covering school fees, supplying stationery, school uniforms, and clothing. We place a strong emphasis on supporting the education of the girl child by also distributing sanitary pads to improve school attendance and dignity.
Over the years, this project has made a meaningful impact. The very first child supported through this initiative graduated from Midlands State University in 2020 and has since completed a Master’s degree. Today, we are proud to be supporting a growing number of students in both primary and secondary schools, as well as tertiary institutions.
Our goal is to not only meet the immediate educational needs of these children but to walk with them through their academic journey, from primary school to university, creating pathways toward a brighter future.
This life-changing project is sustained through donations from well-wishers and the unwavering support of our community. We are actively seeking more partners to help expand this initiative so that no child is left behind due to lack of school fees or basic learning materials.
