Community Humanitarian Support
Shekinah Glory Organisation continues to stand as a beacon of hope in the Zvishavane District, serving as a first responder to the needs of vulnerable individuals and families. Our humanitarian support extends beyond the walls of the Children’s Home, reaching into communities where hardship, disability, and lack of access to essential services are most acute.
Emergency Relief & Family Support

We provide regular assistance to families in need through the distribution of food hampers, clothing, and blankets. These essential supplies help cushion families against the harsh effects of poverty, food insecurity, and seasonal challenges, especially in rural and marginalized communities.
Disability Support & Inclusion
We are committed to promoting inclusivity and mobility for children living with disabilities. As part of this commitment, Shekinah has provided wheelchairs to enhance the independence and dignity of children with mobility challenges. We also facilitated sign language training for children who are deaf and non-verbal in the Chief Masunda area, creating pathways for communication and learning.

Medical Assistance

Recognizing that access to healthcare is a major challenge for many in our district, Shekinah has stepped in to financially support critical medical interventions. To date, we have assisted many individuals in undergoing life-changing surgeries at major hospitals including Midlands Provincial Hospital, Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare, and Karanda Mission Hospital in Mt. Darwin.
Through these efforts, Shekinah continues to uplift, empower, and restore dignity to the most vulnerable members of our society—ensuring that no one is left behind.
