Income Generating Initiatives

At Shekinah Glory Organisation, sustainability fuels our mission. We are committed to creating self-sustaining systems that not only support our daily operations but also reinforce the skills development of the young people under our care.

Skills-BasAgriculture & Livestock at Kinsale Farmed Product Sales

Through our agricultural initiatives at Kinsale Farm, we rear livestock including goats, sheep, and engage in small-scale fish farming. Our market gardens provide fresh vegetables that contribute to a balanced diet for children at the Shekinah Home. Surplus produce is sold at local markets in Zvishavane, helping to generate income for the Home’s operational needs. These initiatives also serve as a platform for modeling practical agricultural best practices to our youth and the surrounding community.

Skills-Based Product Sales

The Shekinah Skills Training Centre contributes to the organization’s sustainability through the production and sale of high-quality, trainee-crafted goods. These include durable carpentry products and well-made school uniforms. By selling these items within the community, the centre not only helps offset training and operational costs but also demonstrates how vocational skills can be directly linked to livelihood creation.

These income-generating projects form a powerful cycle—where learning turns into productivity, and productivity strengthens the very programs that empower our youth.
